Super Food Matcha Latte

If you’re a coffee lover, then you need to try this matcha latte as it’s so much better for your adrenals than coffee and it wont cause you to crash in the afternoon. It really is the perfect mid morning snack, that will boost your energy levels, fill your body with antioxidants and will also help you to concentrate during the day. Enjoy.  

Serves 1 / 5 minutes

  • 1 cup of coconut or almond milk
  • 1 tsp of matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp of boiling water
  • 1 tsp of lucuma powder
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of coconut sugar
  • ​½ tsp of cinnamon​

Method:
First things first, turn on your kettle. While that’s boiling pour your nut milk into a saucepan with the coconut oil and cinnamon. Bring to a slow simmer over 1-2 minutes.
While the milk simmers, place your matcha powder, coconut sugar and lucuma into a mug and add the boiling water. Mix well and set aside.
Once the almond milk has simmered for a few minutes, transfer to your blender and blitz for 30 seconds until frothy. Pour over the matcha mixture and enjoy immediately.
