Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Organic Matcha Powder
- 1/4 cup Hot Water
- 1 cup Crushed Ice
- 2 cups Cold Water
- 3 sprigs Fresh Mint + extra for Garnish
- 5 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Lime
Method using an Immersion Blender:
- In a heat proof jug combine the matcha powder and hot water - mix well to combine.
- Add crushed iced, cold water and fresh mint - mix with the immersion blender for a minute or two.
- Strain through a sieve. Add maple syrup and juice from half the lime.
- Taste and adjust to your preference. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
Method using a Food Processor/Blender:
- In a mug combine matcha powder and hot water - mix well to combine.
- In the food processor/blender, add ice, cold water and fresh mint, then pour in the matcha tea. Pulse for about a minute.
- Strain through a sieve. Add maple syrup and juice from half the lime.
- Taste and adjust to your preference. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
